Ernest Kahn is a two-time Philippine National Yo-Yo Champion and a Caribou Lodge ambassador since 2012. His style is unmistakably smooth with its own power, and his posture is second to none. He knows exactly what makes a great banger.

He’s a devoted player and one of the most genuine, passionate people you’ll meet. Being around Ernest has a way of lifting your outlook. He creates fun and excitement and shares it generously. These days, Ernest spends much of his time teaching yo-yo across the Bay Area and performing at events throughout California. His infectious energy has made him a fixture at gatherings statewide.

When he’s not throwing or coaching, he’s often exploring the Bay’s coffee scene - Sightglass, Four Barrel, and The Coffee Movement are regular stops - where he also pursues photography. He’s deeply engaged in skateboard and sticker culture, and as a sneaker enthusiast and streetwear content creator on YouTube, he brings that same community-first creativity to everything he does. Based in San Leandro, Ernest is a gift to the Caribou Lodge family and remains one of the most uplifting presences in the yo-yo community.
