Borealis - 10th Anniversary Edition

This iconic signature model for Zach Gormley is what he used on stage in Tokyo to take home the gold in 2015... and for the 10th Anniversary of that win we're releasing this special Anniversary Edition.

This special release of the original Borealis design is meant to look almost identical to the never-released prototype color that Zach used on stage. We've added a subtle "ghost engraving", performed before the yoyo is anodized, to give it the appearance of the same unmarked prototype Zach used to win while under closer inspection you'll find Borealis engraving art on one side and Zach's name and special 10th Anniversary Pickaxes on the reverse.

This special Anniversary re-release is limited to just 70 pieces.

The Borealis is light and fast, and was designed around Zach's style of play. He wanted a return top that felt almost weightless, but had the spin time and stability to power through his long, almost acrobatic combos. The Borealis has an organic body shape and a great feel in the hand that makes it a fun casual throw or an absolute monster on stage. Perfect for a World Champion...or anyone else.
