Caribou Lodge x AT Design Lab - p3ak

The p3ak (affectionately known as the lowercase p3ak), is our first collaboration with AT Design Lab. They caught our eye with their Mono design experiment which explored the form of the original Peak, and we decided we really wanted to get their unique perspective on the evolution of our design language.

In our early days, we had a yoyo design called the "Wooly Marmot", born from the idea of scaling down the original Peak for an undersized throw with similar power. In the spirit of our 20th Anniversary we decided to revisit this same design process, but starting with the new P3AK design and handing the downsizing responsibility to AT Design Lab. Their meticulous attention to detail and precise approach to design resulted in something much greater than simply a smaller P3AK or a Wooly Marmot retread. The lowercase p3ak is truly an evolution of the Caribou Lodge design ethos, filtered through the lens of a true fan of the brand and our design sensibilities.
